Best ginger tea recipe ever

This is the best ever ginger tea recipe! It's so simple to make, and helps you hydrate, keep warm and boost immunity and digestion. 

You will need - fresh ginger, half a lemon, honey and boiling water.

Optional extras are cinnamon (either a stick or a pinch of ground), a sprig of fresh mint, a pinch of cayenne pepper and/or turmeric, chamomile flowers, fresh lime (instead of lemon).

Basic recipe - peel and grate ginger, add lemon juice, honey and add any extras you fancy either into a strainer and a teapot or cup, pour over fresh boiled water and steep for 10 minutes. It's best if you can keep it covered so if you use a cup you could use a saucer or small plate to help it steep.

You can also make this on the stove by adding the ingredients to a pot and simmering gently for 10 mins.  All you need to do then is strain into a mug and enjoy!
